CAster Semenya

Plenty of things regarding gender annoy me, but I have been hearing a lot about Caster Semenya. It angers me.

First of all, not anyone can be a good athlete. Few are made to be amazing athletes. There is a lot of hard work... training, to be sure, but no one can deny that some people are cut out to be a bit more abled for it. some people have more of one type of muscle fibres than the other, and more oportunity, money, time, support, and drive.
To see that someone who has worked so har and lived her life as a woman is being called names and put through test infuriates me. Any world-wide competitor must have an edge, and surely until now gender was less questioned. (Jokes aobut East German women aside.)
XX, XY. Done. Get over it. ...and even so allow some room for choice.

When I was in school I was faster, stronger, and could jump farther than any girls, and most of the boys. I had a very male shape too, prompting my *friends* to call me tranny. That was fine with me, but wtf? (Thank goodness for implants and corsets!) Gender is annoying/evil to begin with, just look at traditions and religions. They tend to make me sick. Can't we just agree that at the least an XX=female? (Anyone outside the box, well, I won't make the rules...)

Mainly I think it ridiculous to assume that athletes on that scale actually are anything like the norm of humanity. They simply are not. Otherwise we would all be competing.

Don't get me started on "acting Feminine" as she has now done...
