Bear with me.
I did a lot today. This morning was laundy and a hellish trip to the grocery store. Then I was a lump. More recently I had a second wind for the day, and I started to take care of the rest of my plans.
I defrosted a bunch of meat from the farm, and I put it to marinate. The spicing is something very different from my norm because I am craving spice and lime.
So, I minced a fresh hot pepper and put that on it. I used a whole bag of key limes, soaking the meat in their juice. Added a bit of garlic salt, mustard seeds, cumin, and a Lot of chili powder... and a lot of black pepper too. I kept trying it, but it just wasn't spicy enough. I ended up pouring quite a bit of the chili in there. The lime juice became red actually.
It was so good I kept eating chunk after chunk. Probably a good 300g! yum!
Then I left it to soak as I vacuumed and mopped thoroughly.
When I finished that I found Malish eating a hunk of meat on the entry carpet!
What the heck kind of cat eats meat marinated in pure lime juice? With generous amounts of hot pepper??????
He was so pleased with himself.
This explains why my poor dwarf pomegranite tree has been pruned to death in spite of my remedy: I sprinkled it with chili powder to stop his gnawing.
I was going to write other things I think, but Dima is home now.
