I really spoke too soon, earlier

I thought I'd post and read tonight. Instead I am only posting, and not quite what I thought to.

I do have photos, some to take, and something to finish first too. Today I didn't do this. I tried sewing, and I made one seam. A shoulder seam at that *sigh* At least it included a short dolman sleeve.

Also, I played with an easy makeup brush holder. I wore makeup twice recently, and so my wish to organise the seldome used brushes is fresh in my mind.
All I did was cut out a rectangle so far.

My hands were slightly shaky and I felt like crap. Normally that is not a time to be inspired by a bike ride, but I have been dying for exercise. Also, I had a few pairs of shoes to pick up at the cobbler up the hill. I could walk there, but I hate walking and I decided to bike if I went to Sephora too. I recently heard of mineral sunscreen, and googled it. I like that there are transparent kinds rather than having to use makeup (which has less SPF anyway.)
So, I wanted ot purchase some today naturally.

It turned out that the lift was broken. Lukily Dima was home and he carried the bike out for me. (I would not attempt to anymore.) The hill is the bane of my existence, but truly not exceedingly steep. I still hate it. I only have two blocks of it and then I reach the main Ave, and today the cobbler. When I reached the corner and parked my bike I was already jelly. The shoe place had a sign too, "will open at 3." Great. I had fifteen minutes and so I went to the cafe next to it for a cool drink. This is the point of my story...
The waiter brought me an overflowing iced tea. I tried to take a careful sip, but my hands trembled and spilt it a little. (ETA: and I kep spilling it and could not steady my hands at all. I had leave it on the table and sip through the stirring straw. My hands were insane.)
Sometimes I feel like I am shaky. Sometimes I have knocked things over in the grocery store, cans or yoghurt. So far I have always blamed cold or especially exhertion like the bike ride. This was especially bad today. You should have seen. I felt eyes on me quite a bit from the others sitting there. Before I had always thought it close to imagined or imperceptable. There was no doubt today, as I was stared at and saw myself too. I had a sinking feeling, hard to explain, about it.
Anyway. Just a note mostly.

I really like very old compacts, and now I have another reason for a nice one (the SPF powder.) Yay. I already have two which I love so much. The first is sterling, and has lovely engraving on each side. I never figured out the maker or anything, but have seen a few similar since. One side has a flower, I forget the type right now... peony perhaps? There is a bumblebee on the other. It has only a mirror inside, which was perfect. I totally lucked out when I won it for something like 30$.
The next is a prettily chipped guilloche. It is cobalt blue on sterling. The chipping is so perfect! That, and the fact that the seller did not see the sterling mark, let me actually afford it. An identical green one is on ebay now for 200, and I've seen many guilloche compacts go for far higher than the -50$ I paid. It has a filling hole and a punched screen, for powder. I use it for my mineral foundation, but I have never used it because I so seldom even were makeup, lol.

I guess I just felt like rambling about those.

Except for the bike ride today has been such a waste, so I had little else I could say. I am sorry, I still need ot answer people. I will.

I'd love to show you the purse I made and the other projects I have spoken of. Tomorrow, hopefully.

Lucidii, I'll show you the shoes too :) (In the last few months I have aquired just few pair from Chloé. All from Century 21 of course, so it was okay!) Apparently I really loved the entire line from whatever season that was. Not current ones, as far as I saw on their website. Which is awesome because I am in saving mode now-a-days. I do have to show you something, however. One day I want at least one purse from Wendy Stevens http://wendystevens.com/ OMG. *drools*
