I definately think your new comics are still funny. The difference between these and BBoCS (aside from a title =p) is that in the As-of-yet-untitled-comic, you're not just going for a joke a day. You have an ongoing storyline, and I think it's sometimes harder to get a funny in there everyday. However, this is the format that I find most rewarding.

Hrm, yeah, I can buy that. I was just flipping through the old archives randomly and wondering why my old stuff felt funnier.

I don't think it's as big a difference as between BBoCS and BoD, but it's certainly an apples to oranges situation.
