I <3 NaNo
Half's the month over, NaNo's haunting me for two weeks now and it's time to make an announcement:
I LOVE NaNo. It's crazy, it's hard and it's frustrating - but it is awesome. Absolutely awesome.
I've never written that much in such a short time and even though it is not perfect (and full of mistakes), it's great and wonderful.
And not to sound arrogant, but I am doing quite good. ^^
PROOF!
Haha! I never thought it possible that I could manage so much. I am a little behind, I was sick some days and school's a bitch, but I am doing quite good. And the best part is - I love what I am writing. There may be some (or a lot) mistakes and stuff that does not really make sense, but nevertheless I am totally happy with what I am doing.
I really hope I will manage the 50k by the end of the month, still got a lot of work cut out for me - but now I am thinking that it is possible. At the beginning I really did not believe that I could ever manage it, but now it IS possible.
Btw, if anyone's interested in reading the story - you will have to wait. For the first time I used a different approach to this story, meaning that I did not start to write it from the beginning, but that I am writing all the scenes that I wish to write. So I have a lot of scenes from all over the novel (yes! I really can call it so XD) and am not able to post anything.
As soon as the novel's finished (or mostly finished) and I have the time (so next month at the earliest) I will try to patch the scenes together to chapters and will then start to post them.
I've already reached my word count for today, would gladly add more but I still have school stuff to do. Yuck. ._.
And to all other NaNos out there - keep going! :D
