NaNoWriMo2010 ~ Teaser

Oct 23, 2010 18:43

As I already said, I am participating in this year's NaNoWriMo.
My poor soul...

And as I said it will be a BBC Sherlock story - I just totally fell in love with the production. :)
I am curious about the german voices, if we ever get a german version of it (being so successfull I am pretty sure of it).
Ah, but I am happy about my DVDs from England... *hugs them close to her chest*

Back to topic, here's a little "teaser" for the story.
Firstly the title and then some kind of quotations.

Not saying too much, but just giving you a titsy tiny glimpse of what may come. *drools over Jim's voice appearing in her head*

I can't say how or if these quotes will appear in the story, but the general meaning of them will be there.

To see the teaser and my little banner, just look behind the cut.
Come on, I know you want to. :P

There is no limit to the creativity of humankind.
They can create every kind of music, lyric, art, story and technology.

They can also create every kind of torture to hurt others.

"This poor guy was beaten to death..."
"The fading of the bruises indicates that they were inflicted over a longer period of time. Days, maybe even weeks."
"That means, he..."
"He wasn't just beaten to death - he was tortured to death."

But not only is the flesh abused, the very souls of the humans do suffer.

"She will be scarred for life, nothing will ever be the same for her."
"Surviving was never the easiest thing."
"So much damage... why?"
"Do humans need a reason to be cruel?"

Facing one of the most gruesome cases of his carrier, Sherlock Holmes may very well reach the boundaries of his mind.

"There's no connection, there are no hints, no evidence, no suspects - there is nothing!"
"But you have to do something!"
"Then give me anything to work with!"
"Are all those victims not enough!"

And so may John Watson reach the boundaries of his appreciation.

"If you can't understand it, then at least accept it!"
"Why should I do that? Where's the logic in it?"
"Can't you be human for once, Sherlock?"
"I don't care about your humanity, John!"

This time, there will be more at stake than just a case.

"Maybe it's time to end this partnership then."

The price for the game will be at it's highest.

"Sherlock!"

"John!"

The torture has just begun...
