Oh, wow. Just... wow. This is an incredible piece, show from so many angles. The depth of Holmes' concern, Moran and Moriarty's obsessions, and Watson's worries about it all... Just amazing.
in general i think Moran is likw Watson, but you are right... Watson is Unique!
and if if Moriarty had ackwaledge this sure thing he could wanted John for himself.
good thing that Watson is a master in self depreciate value
because Moriarty never got how important Watson was, because he looks so ordinary
and Holmes was intelligent enough to never get sufficient attention in Watson so other notices his real value
i love this idea thou where Moriarty was more observant and less vain to look at John and find the treasure happy too that he never get his hands on him
