Beware, Germany, I am on the road now!

Had my second practical driving test last Saturday and I PASSED! YES! :D

Thankfully it was a very simple tour and the tester/checker/whatever was very very nice.

It was early, so almost no people were on the roads. We parked besides a slip road so I would have had a lot of room to start. Just as the test began a big tank truck parked right in front of me and blocked half the road! I had to begin my test driving over the lane of the contraflow and of course I stalled the car.
As I said, the tester was very friendly and immediately said that that was no problem; that I should stay calm and just continue. It really helped.

We drove through one 30-Zone, where I had to park backwards and then we almost drove only on roads out of town. Normally you are allowed to drive 100km/h on such roads, but because they all had damages it was only allowed to drive 50 km/h. :b

At the end we drove for about 5 minutes on the autobahn and the tester even said exactly when I had to change the lane so I was able to easily leave the autobahn.

Then he lead me through the road where I failed the last time (I did NOT stick out my tongue at the stupid signs - at least not that time xD) and after about 30 minutes the test was over. And I got my driving license! ^_^

I am soooo happy and thankful that I managed that. If I had to take the bus and train I need about 1,5 hours to get to my workplace (and to get back, of course). That would have been 3 hours every day with just traveling/waiting around.
Now with my car it will take me about 30 minutes to get to work. *dance*

Right after I returned from my test my parents sat down with me to look over the expenses. Thus far my father had paid for everything and we had to determine how I am going to repay him.

As the driving lessons was something that I could control in how many I would need I have to pay all that back, but my father already said that he does not wish to get more than 100 Euro per month. This way it will take the next two years to pay him back, but I got more money for myself. x)

But the best part - my little car, which I thought I had to pay back, too, is a GIFT. My parents gave it to me for my a-level and driving license now. :)
I really have the best parents in da world. *huggles*

Already drove around a abit, even on my own and you know what? Driving is fun. ;) At least if you have an automatic; I am never going to drive a car with gear change again. Never never never again. *shudders*
