Home Stretch

So... we're in the home stretch now!  I head home in about 22 days.  Unbelievable.  Tonight is the last En Vivo, which makes me very, very sad.  Thinking about life without El Pozo and all the wonderful people at the Casa Verde just makes me triste, muy triste.

Last week was... good.  Lots of me slacking off because I'm never motivated the week after break.  Also, more staying out late than I had planned on.  I stayed out until about 2 AM on Tuesday after En Vivo just talking and hanging out with some of my best buds at CV, and then stayed out until about 1:30 am the day after.  We went to see "Tirador"(AKA "Shooter") with Mark Wahlberg, and it was OK.  Not one of my favorite movies, but not one of the worst movies ever made, either.  So got back from that at 12:30 and then stayed out and talked to people.  Saturday was my friend Jess's birthday party (her bday was yesterday), and we went out to Bambukos and then to Mojito's for dancing.  It was crazy fun!  Mojito's was a leetle crowded and I kept crashing into people dancing, but I still had an amazing time.  Saturday is Hannah and Lulu's birthday party at Tiki, so it'll be another crazy fun time.  I'm also trying to plan something to do as a last bash before everyone leaves (and a pre-birthday bash for me!), and I think it'll work out.  I'm pretty excited, but just a little worried about finals getting in the way.  But I think that it'll turn out well.  I didn't realize how many amazing friends I'd made here until I was trying to tag them all on Facebook so they'd respond to my note... and I reached the max number of tags and hadn't been able to tag nearly everyone.  So then I felt bad for leaving people out... but c'est la vie, no?

I'm really excited to go home.  Not excited to leave all of my amazing friends, but I miss home and I miss my family.  Now I am cranking Virgin Radio UK b/c Lara has her crazy crazy music cranked.  Commercials are better than that.
