January update
The Hobbit: I did eventually get to see it -- I enjoyed it, but I can understand why people are saying there's not much Tolkien in it. I'll reserve final judgement until after the third film.
Television: I finally caught up with SPN so tonight I'll be watching 9-12 in almost real time. I like S9 so far and I hope it stays on course for the next 18 months. I also enjoyed the third season of Sherlock; I'll probably watch it again as soon as I get my discs from the post office. Other shows appear to be on intermittent hiatus but they should be a little more regular in February.
Writing: the heatwave fried my brain for ten days so I haven't accomplished much. The SPN-sentinel fusion is up to 70K, though, and I'm still plodding away at the second part of the Vegas fic.
Hmm. Not much accomplished, but then it's January, and nothing ever gets done between Christmas and Australia Day. Of course, it would also help if I stayed away from timesinks like Reddit and FFA ...
