The sound of running and falling water was loud, and the evening was filled with a faint scent of trees and flowers, as if summer still lingered in Elrond's gardens. (Fellowship of the Ring, “Many Meetings”)
Arrow River, one of the locations used for the Ford of Bruinen scene (Black Rider's side of the river, the side with Arwen and Frodo was filmed at another location). We didn't have a guide here, and even though there was a map showing all the hiking tracks and the place where the scene was filmed, there was no mark on the location. Walking around, we got to the place that looked familiar to all of us.
