On vacation, yo.
Finished my last note, turned off Ork computer!!
I think I am too burned out to do much more that stare at the computer/tv screen tonite (and pop open a celebratory Smithwicks or two).
But tomorrow my fellowship group is having a picnic, and then Sunday I'm off to the Catskills for my third Irish Arts Week :) This year I'm taking just one class - basic flute, and will have afternoons free for lounging by the pool with my kindle, practicing tunes by the waterfall, maybe writing, and resting for each night of dancing, tunes, and beer.
I have no plans for the second week of my vacation, so i think it will maximal beach time. I also just got a shipment of fabric and wool from fabric.com, so I have Projects in case of rainy days. Got some dark blue fabric to make curtains for TehJerry's room. His shade broke and he has towels and paper bags taped over the window. *heavy eye roll* Also some lovely red wool to mix with the grey mum gave me to "make something for me", and some purple wool to attempt another hat.
Let's see what else. Teh brain, she is ded.
Reading "The Wise Man's Fear" which by my calculations should be finished in time for my preordered Kindle version of "A Dance with Dragons", which should in turn be finished in time for "Ghost Story" (of which I've already read the first chapters online). I also have The Hobbit and the Simarillion (which I know I speeled wrong but can't be arsed to go find it) in paperback for beach reading. Still don't trust kindle at the beach, esp if I'm alone!
TehJerry has just informed my the fried food meant to go with my beer is ready. Fish fingers, but alas, no custard ;)
