I have discovered that the way to get my hair the shade of red that I like, is to use dark blonde dye. *shrug* It just worked :)
I rewarded myself for spending three hours in the office doing mind numbing paperOrks but stopping at Target on the way home. It took awhile to haul half the store into the house! Aside from hair dye and cookie ingredients I managed to pick up a b-day pressie for a friend, a new mini mouse for my Ork computer (to make the mind numbing paperOrks go faster). I also managed to *not* pick up any books or dvds. *bows*
Tomorrow nite is book club number one, for which I did not read the book, but baked lovely oatmeal cookies with white chocolate chips and berries to appease the other members. Book club number two has been postponed two weeks, which means I don't have to hurry back from parentals on Monday, and since I did read that book and finished the other day, I can continue my 'countdown to the Kindle' emptying of my to read basket.
This weekend is my father's 70th b-day, and my mother has the whole weekend planned. Saturday is a baseball game, possibly with embarrassing sign age on the diamond vision, and Sunday is a big dinner after church. Rumor has it she also i bribing the choir to sing "Happy Birthday". Sorry Dad, no one's gonna believe you're 39 anymore ;) I took monday off so don't have to hurry back Sunday, and also the weather is supposed to be nice, so am hauling my bike along.
Gah, it's after 12:30 and I'm still up. And 'Shakespeare in Love' is on. Perhaps I'll just sleep on the couch...
