So! Yorick is something of a pop culture sponge. Not a page goes by when he's not referencing some movie, tv show or book. It's enough to make the women he travels with wish he'd shut the fuck up for once. POINT BEING, Yorick is as knowledgable about modern culture as I am... possibly more.
There is a good chance, then, that he'll recognise a LOT of people in camp. This is generally going to apply to western media. While he does apparently read manga, they never say what, so I'll just ignore that part for now. It also only applies to canons that were around during or before 2002. Because, well, that's when every male in Y: The Last Man suddenly dies, so they didn't really get a chance to make Indiana Jones 4 or Transformers: The Michael Bay Edition.
