My thoughts and prayers are going out to friends and family in Queensland.
My closest possible relative (my identical twin sister, bastyseult, is in South East Queensland, just west of the Brisbane. My biggest prayers go to her and her not-even-4-month-old twin girls, as well as her 15 year old son, her partner and their pets.
Just a note there, too.
DON'T FORGET YOUR PETS IF YOU'RE BEING EVAC'ED! THEY ARE JUST AS LIKELY TO GET HURT, INJURED, OR DISEASED IF LEFT BEHIND!
