So, since this was entirely pre-coded the day of, I don't feel like going through and changing the little introduction things. So yay, for what it is, it is. I don't think I'm making much sense, actually. Oh well, last one of the night!

When Watanuki is seven, he confides his secret to a friend, a young boy with bottomless gray eyes. It’s the first person he has ever told his secret to, and the boy laughs at him, doesn’t believe him, calls it a silly game. Watanuki thinks to show him the deep gashes on his arm where a spirit grabbed him just yesterday, but a teacher comes in and sends him straight to the nurse’s office. She asks him questions, and the answer is always “No.” “Did your parents do this to you?” “Did you fall down?” “Did you do this to yourself?” He doesn’t volunteer any information about the spirit, the ghost of an angry teenage girl who just wanted to live and didn’t he respect that, how could he respect that when he was still breathing and she’d fix that, she’d fix that good, all snotty little brats, kids, every single one of them. He’s already learning.
It’s a memory he loses, and he can’t say that he’d be sorry to see it go if he could remember it again.
And, yet another Fire Emblem. But this one goes with the second round, because *gasp* It isn’t EL. Just gen.

The medallion is so… innocent looking, without the soft glow surrounding it eerily. Hard to believe that such an innocuous piece of metal could hold a goddess for hundreds of years. Ike holds it in his hand and considers what to do with it. There’s no use, anymore, but he doesn’t want to throw it away. He doesn’t want to keep it, either. Eventually, he ends up offering it to the others, and Elincia takes it to put on display, as a memento of their fearsome battle. Ike isn’t unhappy to see it go.
And this one is UM, because I told my friend that I would write her UM if she took over singing on this one song in Rockband. So it’s an ion too. But, um… *sigh* It sucks. Sorry.

Marus and Urban didn’t really have much of a foundation to build a relationship on. They were from completely different backgrounds, so apart from each other that even the best efforts to merge the two were full of issues and trials, and only moderately successful. But they were determined, and together they proved that love can sometimes be enough, if it’s strong.
And this one is Code Geass. Because what kind of post would it be without CG, srsly? Actually, I wrote this one first of all of them. And the theme was kind of appropriate for the day, too.

Suzaku avoids the school for the year which Lelouch has lost his memories. He tells himself that it’s for no reason, that he just doesn’t have time anymore, now that he’s a Knight of Rounds. There are three truths: first, that he is too busy; second, that he is afraid of Lelouch-sans-memories, that he would find a way to forgive him, that he would lose his hold on his hatred; third, buried so deeply he refuses to acknowledge it, is guilt, because he has taken everything from Lelouch as surely as Lelouch has taken Euphie from him. So he puts off his return to school until Zero reappears and he no longer has a choice.
And, we return to Kevin. Who is fun just because I can do a lot of things with him, even if his storyline is a bit shaky and all. Currently, he just rescued a two-year-old or so kid during the color set, so this is the sequel to that.

Kevin can pinpoint the exact moment in time that he decided to tell his mom about his abilities. It was the moment when he phased back into his house, child in tow, and had no idea how to explain the kid’s sudden appearance, other than, “Oh, no, Mom, don’t worry. I didn’t kidnap it or anything. Or really, I did, but that was okay, because it was in an alternate dimension and they were about to use it as a sacrifice. Can we keep him?”
As he’d never been allowed to have a dog before, it was certainly a memorable conversation.
Okay, so this one is for animegirl07, because I’ve been meaning to write them sometime anyway, and she ships like burning, and it would have been me consequence pairing if I hadn’t finished in time. (Her consequence pairing was a little more cruel: Lulu/Rollo, which is squicky for her.)

Raz takes a look at the incantation that girl used to summon him to her world, and is surprised and dismayed to find that there are no loopholes. It’s an extremely well-constructed spell.
He mopes around for a few days, until Nakaoji drags him out for ice cream, which Raz has never quite gotten around to tasting and which is so incredibly good that for a moment, he thinks that staying in the human world might have its perks.
It’s not the only thing Nakaoji showed him either, he thinks, draping an arm around the boy and slipping his hand into his back pocket. And though it was good, ice cream is nothing in comparison to the taste of Nakaoji’s mouth.
This DaKe was actually a little easier than the other one, even though it was written much later. Oh well.

Ken isn’t sure when it happened, when his life with Yolei and their children wasn’t enough. He isn’t sure when he began to seek Davis out, wandering hands and mouths pressed together and heat and friction sating some intangible need deep within his core. He knows that Davis doesn’t approve, doesn’t believe that what they are doing is right; he knows that Davis will never deny him anything. He takes shameless advantage of it, pressing Davis into more and more compromising situations. Maybe he wants to be caught, to break free of the lies that this heated desire has led him into. Maybe he just likes the thrill.
Sometimes, at night, he resolves to stop, to return to his mundane life as a family man, return to playing his cookie-cutter role. But somehow, his feet always find themselves tracing the familiar path to Davis’s door, and he knows, surely as anything in his messed up, twisted world of lies, that he will continue until something breaks.
