So... yeah.. its been awhile...
So... since i last posted.. so much has gone on.3 weeks. 2 very fun football games. 1 very crappy marching show, and 1 very very fun one.
Classes have been hard. Hard to do well in... hard to get to... ive got to get my ass in gear.. the first round of tests went not so well.
heres a summary of my classes:
Psych 280... interesting.... but its the first class.. and damn is it hard to get to.
Physics 198.... very intersesting.. also first class, on TR... hard to get to... AND very hard to understand. when i do understand i love it.. when i dont im just confused
MIS 300... oh god. i could talk for hours about how this guy... well.. talks for hours.... about the most meaningless subjects. THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MIS. Its pointless, and his tests cover little inane details from lecture. ive not been making it regularly recently, as its just too damn worthless. The guy manages to piss me off at his lack of actual material taught. Its a class whre i WANT TO LEARN (oh my god i bet youre thinking) and hes not teaching shit.
Acct 284.. I love this class. Mazzitelli is awesome. How is it that im liking accounting more than MIS?
Choir.. gets a big meh. it has its fun times.. it also has its times where i just want to get up and leave because of the music selection and arrangements...
Music theory.. love it. I missed a couple days due to iowa trip, and then she cancelled a class.. so i went into a test with no lecture time.. i was going in pretty cold. yep. i bombed that one. But im ready for the test monday.
Band.. has had its ups and downs. Iowa week was awesome, as was playing in kinnick and muscatine. The following week.. had a show that really sucked. 80s one hit wonders. BAD IDEA. And this week, we went back to LOTR\PotC\Harry Potter for our meaningless performance in (5 hours away) minnesota yesterday. oh yeah, that was worth it [/sarcasm]
In addition to all my classes, somethings been up with being sick lately... lots of people have been sick, including me. Im not the best right now. It hurts to swallow, and the headache was killer yesterday... earlier in the week i could barely move i felt so bad.. and i missed half my classes that day.. I think i may try to get an appointment scheduled for when i go to des moines if im not feeling better (it beats student death..)
I feel like im seeing a light at the end of the tunnel now though. No band monday or friday. I can finally go home for a weekend, see waukees show, and just get some much needed downtime. Ive not had a weekend completely off since august.
