Finally
So I dropped off my car to get fixed today, and I was set up with a Cadillac DTS as my rental...nice.
I got a call from my agent this morning as well. A few weeks ago, I interviewed with a company, and I kicked so much ass on that interview, that they rejected me because I was "too" motivated and over qualified for the job. Well, as it turns out, they weren't satisfied with the person they ended up hiring, and my agent told me that they wanted to reconsider their decision and hire me. So, as of about 10:00 this morning, I basically had the offer from Quaker Oats in my pocket, and a probable offer from this company as well. I was still waiting for Northwestern Mutual for their decision. I was complaining to my sister about why it's always the job I want to hear back from the most that is always last to respond.
Anyways, about half an hour ago, I got a call from Northwestern mutual, and got the offer! I start on Monday. I'm definitely psyched. This really was the exact kind of job in the exact kind of industry in the exact kind of location about the exact kind of money I was looking for. Things are finally looking up now.
