So, last Monday I had this great I had this great interview with Northwestern Mutual for an investment plan analyst position. I honestly thought of all the jobs I ever interviewed for, this was not only the best match for me, I was a the best match for this position. Not only that, but I walked out of the interview thinking I nailed it. There was no way I wouldn't get at least a second interview. Fast forward a week and a half, and I haven't heard anything. I sent an e-mail to the person who I interviewed with asking for a time frame, but she told me that she wasn't done compiling a list of candidates, and that unfortunately she couldn't give me a time frame. Fast forward a week and a half, and I've given up this job. Most places don't wait that long if they're interested.
Well, lo and behold, I just got an e-mail asking me to come back in for a second interview! Let's hope this is it. I have a better feeling about this job than any other one I've interviewed for.
