Salutations to everybody!
3 oddments I learned or remembered recently:
1. So much refuse used to collect around the Berlin wall that engineering teams would reguarly have to leech away methane gas to stop the whole thing conflagarating.
2. A notorious fight scene in South Park, where Timmy and Jimmy (2 adorable handicapped children) beat the snot out of each other is a blow-for-blow remake of the brawl in 'They Live' starring Roddy Piper and complete with "put the hat on!" and "Dirty F--ker." lines.
(Gareth or Matt may have the episode if Kalyn wants to check this ;D )
3. ET was played by a child in a suit for several walking scenes in the classic movie. His tradmark waddle (and I swear on all souls that I'm not making this up) was performed by a 10yr old boy who doesn't have legs, and carried himself around on his hands.
Other than that, this holdiday has been:
Travelling, a dog called Bear, socks, German cousin looks like Uma Thurman, gutbuster meals, Lynx Africa from 3 different people, socks, drinks with bikers, drinks with chavs, card-games with Nana, crazy flirting lady, just saying no and Napolean Dynamite on the coach-ride back to Cardiff.
Also, my 3yr old nephew thinks I live in a whale. With the dolphins. Bless.
