never a mother.

i feel like I did when I would wake up too early for crew practice. My eyes don't want to open, are scratchy, but I don't think that i can go back to sleep.
i was brought to consciousness by a high pitched scream and the loud sound of thumping and tumbling down 1/2 a flight of stairs. A bit confused, I sat up, swung my legs off my bed, stood up, and walked to my door. For a split second I thought if opening this door was a good idea of not. I'm supposed to be a good citizen, so I did. Luckily, my mom was there for the rescue, 911 was called, and some lady with an Irish accent stood in our foyer asking questions. She seemed really nice as I sat at the top of the stairs out of view calming my dog sarah.
What my mother referred to as my brother's wife, sliced and broke her hand at work yesterday, and today feel down the stairs in an epilectic episode.
Welcome back Rebecca, to 102 Courtneybrook Trail- the place where bad luck is sure to never run out.
