Comcast should die

We had 2 minor storms: horizontal rain, thunder and lighting, and bang, no internet. Comcast sucks.

Sorry to hear you've been incommunicado. A day without alaneer (along with my other LJ hangin' buds) is like 2 minor storms: horizontal rain, thunder and lighting, and bang, no internet. ;)

Thanks, Marshall.

Comcast lookout; it's my turn to tempest.

I'll bright my teapot and well make our own sunshine. Fuming, bellicose, belligerent, confrontational, angry sunshine, of course. ;)

Man, I am so glad to be rid of Comcast. They are horrible.

As soon as we sell our house--don't know when that'll happen with this market--I'm switching service.

I'm having a few issues with Comcast, too. Mainly ground loop humming, which I can fix on my end, I think; and problems with the phone service (which is going to require calling customer support). Fortunately, I almost always use my cell phone and only have the Comcast phone service because it was part of the package.

FYI, if you are having trouble getting your issues resolved, you might try calling Comcast's Executive-Complaint Center.

Calling them when the internet service is out doesn't do any good; you get a recording that they're working on the problem. They might, but it usually takes them too long.

Yup! Mark me down for the suck category, too. They need more competition. They have all the reins.

*Grin*

Let's fire stink bombs at them.

Sorry about the storm. Our local cable internet was down for a while due to a fire in our neighborhood, and the cable junction box was in the way! Some landscaping and fences were burned, but no houses damaged! It seems like no matter what company it is, it takes too damn long to fix a problem!
