This was actually an assignment I finished last semester for a class on graphic novels. The scan my professor emailed everyone was AWFUL, so I decided to touch up some of the text on paint.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with graphic novels, there is a subtle distinction between the graphic novel and the comic, which I guess is really mostly content based. At any rate, it was a really rewarding class. The texts we covered, if anyone is interested, were:
- Persepolis
- Maus
- Palestine
- Fun Home
- Black Hole
- Watchmen
- Jimmy Corrigan, Smartest Kid On Earth.

While Jimmy Corrigan and Black Hole are brilliant works, I wouldn't recommend them unless you're in the mood for the bizarre and depressing. Jimmy Corrigan, in particular, does unbelievable things with form; it reads like Joyce.

Enjoy.
