What have we become?
Our jokes and BS has cause pain and lost.
Our anger has abandoned a friend and has torn apart a friendship, a bond that was thought not to be broken. The fear to say sorry to the friend is keeping us apart. A peace that was once created was taken away in one fatal swoop. As if someone dropped a stone in our little pond causing a ripple of pain, anger, and sorrow. I thought maybe if I was removed from the picture, the ripple would stop. I was too late. The ripple destroyed a friendship and cut off all ties to a friend. I foresaw that coming, no one liked her expect me. And what did I get the short end of the stick. That’s cool. But, what have we become? We have gone from a flock of geese to a lone eagle only looking out for him/herself.
