excitement!
today was spent re-surfacing the brake tester's rollers, grinding the old stuff off is a horrible job, i *HATE* goggles, but its all i can wear because of my bad eyes, gloves also piss me off, id rather have control than a tiny bit of protection when it goes tits up, nice dust mask and ear defenders and just go for it, when it starts smoking and the disk starts cracking have to go and ask roy to put a new disk on, apparently he doesnt thing im competent enough to undo 2 bolts and re-do them. he pissed me off in his refusals to change the sanding discs because "they're expensive" who cares, if the disc is down to the paper, and as smooth as a babys bum, all its gonna do is get hot. i got 2 done, only 2 to go.
Driving test tomorrow! whee! if i pass im gonna go fishing, if i fail ill see how i feel.
today callum asked what a bolt was for after putting something back together and finding a bolt left-over, dave looked at the bolt and said "ahh, thats a wee bolt." "whats a wee bolt?" dave throws it across the workshop "WHEEEEE!"
