Haley Bopp, Batman! It's sleeting!
Tonight it started sleeting at about 6 and kept going until about 10. And, of course, when lots of ice starts gathering on the ground it looks white and people think it's snow. Silly people! And they all kept saying, "It's not supposed to snow in Texas!" Correction: it's not supposed to snow in THIS PART of Texas... and it's NOT snow!!! It's ICE! Anyway, I took pictures of it because Kim wanted me to, and they came out looking really cool! The sleet looks like stars in the pictures! The first time I went out there with Kim there was NO ONE out there, but the second time I went with Dallas there were a bazillion people in the quad throwing ice balls at each other. One insane guy took off his shirt and his pants (boxers still in tact) and rolled around in the snow. Obviously desperate for attention.
I'm going to be so ill tomorrow... I spent way too much time in the sleet without enough warm gear AND I already felt sick. Crap, I'm stupid!
Now I have to go study when I really wish I could just sleep. There is the possibility that classes will be cancelled tomorrow since Austin closes down anytime it gets icy at all. Keep your fingers crossed that Alana won't have to go to school or work tomorrow so she can study hardcore for her midterm Wednesday (and maybe sleep in).
