I'm going to describe a character from a TV show-- a very popular show, and a very well-liked character. I want to see who people think I'm talking about.
- She's a small, blonde cheerleader, sweet-faced-- very pretty.
- Her mother's doting, if somewhat oblivious until later in the show, and obviously loves her daughter very much-- but just as obviously doesn't understand her.
- She doesn't see her father as often as she likes.
- She has super-human abilities, abilities she was born with that didn't surface until high school.
- Her closest guy-friend is a sweet, kinda dweeby dark-haired guy who cares about her a lot, most of the time.
- Her boyfriend is tall, and stalks her a bit at first before revealing his own unusual traits.
- She's died and come back.
- She's deeply involved in saving the world.
