Just finished MGA2
Oh my god, that ending... MPO is still a better game, but the ending to MGA2 makes me feel mushy and happy and yay. :D SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS GAME.
First off-- ohgod need Dalton*Snake like burning. <3<3<3 They may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but they stuck it out and won the day and grew to trust each other and it's like Snake*Otacon if Otacon was ex-FBI with a strong drive for justice. Or something. IT MAKES MY HEART SMILE, AND THAT'S WHAT COUNTS.
Secondly, I love how Venus works out. Didn't particularly like her as a character, but it's interesting to think about this cool, near-emotionless, order-following chit trying to live a normal life as a cashier. I also cheered when Wiseman was being dragged away by the authorities, though, so... I just wish there was a hint of what happened to B.B., beyond that he's all right. God! I though he was in university, or at least high school or something! Elementary... *Whistles* Precocious kid. I wonder if he's related to anyone we know...?

Thirdly: I actually like the plot of this one a lot better than I did MGA's. I liked this one better than MGA all around, though, so I'm not too surprised; the interface was a lot friendlier, and while the game-proper feels shorter, there's enough extras to more than make up for it (the arena, and the Solid Eye stuff-- though I don't have a Solid eye thingy, the movies are still fun to watch; MGS3 movies in Japanese sound STRANGE, in a cool way. I'm also not objecting to the other type of videos. XD;; ); I don't feel particularly deprived by having a slightly shorter game. (If it actually WAS shorter, that is; it may just be that it feels that way because MGA could get so tedious.) The utter lack of a half-hour infodump after I'd supposedly finished the game didn't hurt; instead, the exposition was spread through the last four or so levels, and made a decent amount of sense.
And finally, I still don't get Dr. What's-her-face's outfit. XD What the hell, lady, that's what you wear to work every day?
Anyway. Good game is good. I'd play MGA3 if they ever made on, if the quality stayed up here. AND IF IT HAD DALTON why is he so suddenly awesome >:.
