007. Present
Slipstream, to be honest (and she is), doesn't give a slag about Cybertron.
She was born in Earth's orbit, and the planet exerted a gravitational pull she'd never broken free of-- the longer she spent there, the more she didn't want to. Now, at six months, she's sprawled on a sandy dune, head tilted back against a boulder, her violet plating soaking up sunlight and the water of the lake tsssing around her legs as she basked. That city, Detroit, is across the way, but she can ignore it, ignore the Autobots there, as long as the warm sun and cold water are here, with her.
Who the slag needed Cybertron? She's happy with Earth, Earth as it is, without any pesky wars or clones or Starscream to ruin it.

031. Jewelry
She pulled the cracked stone out of the rag she'd wrapped it with, and it sat, heavy in her palm, the green of it still bright but the fracture brighter still, catching the light and threading whitely down the length of the gem.
"I didn't realize you still had that thing," Carlos said, and Alexis scowled at him.
"Of course I do," she snapped, laying it carefully on the table. "I just haven't been able to wear it." The two halves fell apart, without her hand to cup them together. "Can you fix it?"
"What, seriously? Look, I've taken shop class and all, but it doesn't mean I can make a broken rock into jewelry--"
"It would just need a band around the middle, to keep the halves together," Alexis interrupted, "and a loop on the back for a chain. Right?"
"Well, I guess--"
"Then get to it." She wrapped the rag back around the rock, and handed it to him. "And that had better get back to me in good shape, you hear?"

078. Lemon
"Scientifically speaking, eating candy is bad for your teeth and promotes cavities."
Kay grinned around her sucker, cracking an eye open and holding a hand out to Ema, ignoring the way Ema's hands were fisted on her hips, the disapproving frown on the other girl's face. "Scientifically speaking, it makes kisses tastier," she said, cheerfully.
Ema went pink, pink as the lenses on her sunglasses. "That's beside the point," but she came when Kay beckoned her, sitting on the edge of Kay's bed. Kay pulled her sucker out of her mouth, holding it to the side as she pulled Ema down, into a slow kiss, one that tasted like lemons and sugar when Ema's tongue touched Kay's lips.
"See what I mean?" Kay asked, with an impish little grin.
