Posting cos I think I should...*is totally lazy*
I am going to talk about yesterday and today and that's it cos I'm just lazy XD
Yesterday (tuesday) I went to my seminar at 10am, didn't understand a word that was said (good start to the day then >.>), and then went straight to the Accommodation Office. I dunno if I've explained this in here already but the house in Didsbury I've been in since September comes to the end of it's 6 month lease on the 25th Feb and since I'm technically the only one living here now it's not worth keeping it on any longer. So my mission was to obtain accommodation from the 24th Feb. The accommodation lady set up a visit of a flat at Mill Point that had a vacant room. So I trundled over to Mill Point and got shown the room, which was fine, the shared living area on the other hand was a mess x_x I don't have much option though and they did say they'd talk to the other people in the flat and try and get it tidier by next week. Fingers crossed! but I am gonna be signing contracts and stuff tomorrow. Met up with mum and Henry afterwards and went to the Chinese buffet for lunch. They went to the airport later on to catch their plane to Amsterdam and I had a bath and then tried to make a start on my essay (try being the operative word). I got the question written out and chose two of the poems I was going to use, very productive...
Today, Adrian drove me over to Lincoln to have a look at the uni, cos I'm still looking at a possible transfer for 2nd year (I like to keep my options open). The uni seemed friendly and was a nice size and Lincoln city centre was much more attractive to me than Manchester. It was smaller, friendlier, quieter, less smokey and well I just preferred it. The guy I spoke to at the uni (who's head of History) said to me that I had to apply through ucas but they would basically give me a conditional offer based on my passing year 1, and I was worried they'd put too much consideration on my crappy A Levels, phew! We drove back and got stuck in lots of traffic, gwah. I watched Neighbours and then got on with my essay. I got 830 words written in a couple of hours but then my brain fizzled out and I couldn't cope anymore. So I decided to watch a film and go to bed (though I haven't yet ^^; ) and write the last 500 or so words in the morning. So Adrian and I watched 'A Life Less Ordinary'. Ewan is luff!! Um...all over again? Hehe. It really was awesome, even if it did confuse me XD
Oh gawds, I nearly forgot. I got my Valentine's package from Scott this morning (stupid post delivered it a day late *fumes at the postal service*). Anyways, I received a letter, a card, two Kingdom Hearts mangas, two bracelets and a necklace and am just a very lucky girl really *huggles Scotty* Mucho Thankies to my Kakashi *huggles again* <3
Okies, I'm done, I think. Tomorrow (or today if you go by the clock) brings essay handing in, accommodation contract signing, mum and Henry's return, and Kickboxing (oh and hopefully Japanese for dinner at New Samsi *crosses fingers*)
