Speedy updatey
So... I'm going to France tomorrow for 2 nights. Originally we were gonna go for 4 nights. Then it went down to 3 cause of Adrian's work commitments. Now it's gone down to 2 cause we couldn't secure a single gite for Friday to Monday. Luckily Saturday is changeover day so we just about managed to get one, lol. Looks pretty good too. 4 bedrooms, a games room with a football table, English TV, wireless internet. The works! It's 5 miles from Hesdin, and 30 odd miles from Calais. Gonna hopefully geek out over lots of historical geeky things :D
I'm not taking my laptop though. Just gonna tweet some updates from my phone here and there, s'long as the internet works, cause the owners said it'd been playing up. If necessary I'll just pay out £2 a day for my mobile internet. It's important, damnit! Lol.

MY ENGLAND V SPAIN TICKETS ARRIVED IN THE POST TODAY!!
Incredibly excited by this, as you can see. Really hope both sides play strong teams. It should be a good match anyways.
I saw Tintin at the cinema the other day. Really enjoyed it! Used to love watching the series as a kid. Very nostalgic. Plus the 3D was actually really good, and I'm not generally a fan of it.
Liverpool progressed to the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup. Really good to see us progressing in a Cup this season. Luis Suarez's first goal was an absolute beauty. The nutmeg and then the curl on the shot from so far out and at such an impossible angle. Brilliant! Just hope we get a home draw for the quarter-final, and preferably not against Man City, lol.
Anyways. gonna leave it there. Need to actually pack a bag for this trip across the channel. Then I need sleep cause we are leaving at 6am cause it's a fair old drive down to Dover.
