So my days have been taken up with Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes still. I have fallen so hard for that world. Seriously wanna be in CID, ahaha. I'm currently up to series 2 of Ashes to Ashes, just watched episode one of that tonight, lol. But I also rewatched two Life on Mars episodes today becasue I um...got Sam Tyler withdrawl ^^; I am a hopeless case, it is true.
Anyways, Gene Hunt and co. aside, I've had a fairly eventful weekend. Louise was in Manchester for the weekend, which was awesome. She came over Saturday and we went into Manchester to do a spot of shopping, which was actually successful for once in my miserable life, lol. I bought some black Criminal Damage jeans for £19.99, which are hellava comfy. I also got a black Spring jacket from H&M, and... some orange braces! Lolol. I am so cool (photos to follow under a cut, haha).
The only slightly bad (and wholly embarassing) point of this shopping trip was when I literally tripped, on the steps into Afflecks Palace. I sort of nearly missed the step, so that only the toe of my boot landed on the step, and so crashed forward and banged my shin on the step. Hurt like a bitch and all these baby!emos behind me were laughing their asses off at me. Still, to my credit, I jumped straight up and got properly inside before I started cursing like a sailor, lol.
We went over to Anna et al's house in the evening for their so-called Moroccan evening, which mostly consisted with us watching this weirdass film called Ricky on their cinema screen. It was very violent and fake and gross and kinda hilarious, lol.
Cupcakes I made last week for mum's belated birthday party:
Outfit I wore out the Saturday before last. Bad photo, but it proves I can wear skirts on nights other than Halloween, lol:
Orange braces!:
Cupcakes for last night's tea party!:
Yesterday Louise and I had a bit of a baking session, making two different batches of cupcakes (strawberry and cream ones and peanut butter chocolate ones). Then Anna and the others came over and we had a bit of a tea party whilst watching Labyrinth. Was awesome!
Then today, on my fantabulous extra day off, which still feels wonderful and new, Louise came over again and we went out and got breakfast. Then she had to drive back down south, but it was awesome hanging out again :D
Anyways, yes, that was my weekend. Now I really should go sleep as I have work in the morning, bah.
