Barcodes make me dizzy

If I had a choice in the matter I would NEVER EVER work Saturdays again. It was awful! There were 100 times more customers. The customers were 100 times ruder and more impatient. And, to top it all off, the tills weren't working properly. The scanners kept breaking. I was on one whose scanner did not work, for like an hour or more. I had to tap in ( Read more... )

I know what you mean about tills not working, my scanner just kept buzzing and beeping, turning on and off when it wanted. nothing had tags on so typing the numbers in, till reciepts not printing properly and the thing to call people over broke! fun (Y)

go de stress and blow more lego up!

Urgh, technology sucks. Sometimes I wish we had old fashioned tills. Though, I'd have to be able to add up on my toes then, so maybe not.

Oh I know, but then people like me who SUCK at maths would be totally screwed! That is the one thing I love about the modern till, no maths!

and it was good, thank you :) Shift went pretty quick, I was serving one customer for like, half an hour. She dropped over £700 on clothes and gifts for christmas, I was there for bloody ages bagging it all up!

LOL! I bet that was fun. Bet you don't have to charge a penny per bag though; customers get so unnecessarily ticked off by it ¬_¬

oh man I do hate that about smiths! I was in the train station all flustered and making sure I had all my things and I could not find a damn penny in my bag! I do feel sorry for you, bugger having to say that to every customer!

Yeah, it sucks. I get a lot of people telling me they won't pay a penny to advertise our company. Well, 'scuse me but places like Lidl, Marks and Spencer, etc. charge like 5p for that privledge, lolol.
