A week of work has passed, yes.
So, week 1 of work is over. I survived a whole 5 days at WHSmiths! My feet are so deathly sore though (I think I need to buy a footspa or something, eheh) and I'm sooo tired. My eyes actually ache from being so tired (and yeah, if I'm so tired why am I typing this out? It's lj addiction, I tells you).
So I somehow managed to get in for 7:30am again today. Though it turns out I didn't need to since Raye phoned in sick with a migraine, and the main reason I came in that early was 'cause she was gonna show me how to sort the History books, bah. Rob (store manager) actually wanted me in later so I was in 'til 7, but that sure wasn't gonna happen. I did end up staying 'til 4pm though. I got an extra half hour break and he's gonna pay me for an extra half hour too, so tis all good.
The buzz this morning was all about Ross Kemp, 'cause he did an instore signing last night (I swear I will miss all the signings, lol). Karen (works on kids books) was still hot and bothered over it this morning. She got to talk with him last night and kept gushing about him to us today, ahaha. It must be the whole 'Mitchell brother' thing, 'cause otherwise I don't get it, eheh.
Also, while I was on till this afternoon, a guy came in with a winning lottery ticket for £84! That's like 2 and a half days wages or something, lol! (after tax, of course)
Mum, Henry and Adrian are back now. Mum bought up my birthday cake!! I'll have some tomorrow, hee~ I'm also going out to Jillys tomorrow in my orange finery, heh. S'gonna be a top night, I'm sure :D
Anyways, I'm done now. Shall just do one or two more things and then I'm going beddy bye byes 'cause I am knackered.
