Doctor Who is over for another series *sniffles*

The weekend drama I was expecting ended up being non-existent once the inital stuff was finished. Saturday evening/night and today have been absolutely fine. I still believe everything to be finely balanced though and I am very much ready for the volcano to shudder and possibly erupt again, if ya get my meaning, lol. But for now, all is good.

Also, I got a Graduation present (it's a few days early 'cause Henry won't be here on Wednesday when I actually graduate and he wanted to be the one to give it me). I was not expecting anything at all, so when I was presented with this:

I was naturally very surprised and chuffed. Mum said she's not seen me smile so much in ages and ages, lol. It felt really heavy on my wrist at first but I soon got used to it and it sort of became second skin very quickly. It's very nice! You can't really get the full appreciation of it from that photo. I shall no doubt be wearing it on Wednesday, heh.

Didn't see Doctor Who last night, as I said, but Henry and I watched it on iplayer this afternoon. Omg!

So um...after last week's evil cliffhanger of doom, I kinda scoured the internet and read some of the rumours/theories going around about the finale. Now I read one that sounded so ludicrous I sat there and laughed at it. It only turned out that that rumour/theory was exactly what happened. I was gobsmakced, to be honest. I figured the part about the Doctor using his hand in the regeneration process would be right, but the rest of it? A Doctor clone! Doctor clone going off with Rose! Donna becoming the Doctor and then having her memory wiped! I thought I was reading a rather outlandish rumour, not the actual plotline, haha.

That all said, I thought it was a bloody good, entertaining episode. I loved Captain Jack's wink at the Doctor when he was supposedly dead and couldn't wait to see Rose's reaction when she saw Jack alive, heh. The bit when Davros taunted the Doctor about his homemade army sent chills through me (poor Doctor, he'll never travel with anyone again *sniffles*). Rose kissing The Doctor (albeit the clone one) was a beautiful moment. The Doctor being all alone again, especially after having to witness Donna post memory wipe, was awfully sad. I even cried a bit and I don't think I've cried over DW since the series 2 finale *sniffle*

All in all, a saitfying ending in my eyes. I'm just gonna miss it terribly again and get seriously hyped up for the Christmas special, as usual. Cybermen once again. What will they deliver up this time? Hmm. Also, is Mickey gonna join Torchwood as well as Martha? Would make sense, they are down 2 members (poor Owen and Tosh *sniffs*).

doctor who, graduation, torchwood
