My Thursday, yo
So I went in for my Cold War lectures today, actually did, lol. Wish I hadn't bothered though. This term's lecturer is shit, no word of a lie. He was so bad someone started passing a petition round for people to sign to sort it out, and like nearly everyone signed it. The thing is he was just reading the notes off the powerpoint and kept stopping after each point for like ages. So he basically made a 10 minute presentation last an hour. It was terrible! I've not seen student presentations as bad as that before. So, I really hope something gets sorted out cos there's no incentive there to get out of bed at 8am.
I had lunch after that (a baguette in the refectory) and then Dorian and I went to this week's film screening: Gone With The Wind. Actually my first time ever watching it. All I can say is...it was a good film but faaaar too long. How can you make a 3 and a half hour film? *cries* I had had enough by the intermission halfway through but made myself stay to watch the rest (unlike Dorian, lol). I got through a whole big bag of Skittles (and felt sick afterwards, haha).
Then I caught the bus to meet Carmel and we walked to Hirra, Anna and Laura's house. We chatted there for a bit then we all went to Trof and had food. I had this pasta dish with mushrooms and cougettes, which was fairly nice (the others all had veggie burgers; I was odd one out, boo). Laura had brought along 'Cranium' (a board game, you unedumacated people, hah) and we played a round of that. We mostly did creative tasks and some performing ones. I had to act out 'quicksand' for my teammates to guess, was hard and embarassing in a public place, and they never guessed it, bah :/ Twas fun though. We left about 9 though and I caught the bus home.
And that's been my, fairly busy and full, day. Oh and also, during Gone With The Wind, Dorian had his laptop on and we re-watched the snog-fight from Torchwood, was awesome again! In fact here's the link to the snog-fight on youtube:

It's pure awesome, you have to watch it. It's like slash fanfic/fandom come to life. Seriously seriously good, so WATCH IT!!
