Norwich night out
So yesterday/last night/this morning was fun! I met Ria at her work at quarter past 4 and chatted to her and Dion until 4:30, when Ria and I left to go do an hour of shopping. I actually bought shoes and a top! Small miracle...lol. So after that we went back to her new place, which is nice (and her housemate's cat is cute!). We hung out for a bit, listening to music and stuff. Then Lucy finally arrived and we started to get ready to go out.
I think we left at like half 9 or something, which was only like half an hour later than intended, haha. I stupidly gave my camera to Lucy, who took pictures of anything and everything (which included a shot of Norwich, and believe me, next to my night shots of Manhattan, that just looks silly, hah). She took loads of pics of us throughout the night and gah! most of the ones of me look dreadful. I may put some on Facebook though, we'll see.
So we went to Norweigian Blue first, saw Holly briefly, who was out with 'the Tesco lot', hah. Then we went to Squares, who were having a bit of a Mexican thing going on; we found a random sombrero sitting on the table next to us and borrowed it to take photos, haha. We also had a bit of a dance. As predicted Umbrella came on. I shut my eyes and pretended Gee was singing it, heh. We then went onto Mercy, where we had to pay £8 to get in! I was shocked cos I've never paid more than like £3.50 to get into a club in Manchester. Norwich really sucks :/ Anyway, we spent most our time in the 'Cheese' room, dancing to everything from The Vengaboys to Michael Jackson. Was fun!
We left about 1:30am cos Lucy's feet were dying. This is why I was wearing flats, heh. So we made the obligatory stop to buy pizza, before heading back to Ria's. We ate said pizza, chatted some, and then went to bed.
This morning we got up and um...watched some of Hollyoaks. I didn't realise there was such an interesting storyline going on: Guy engaged to girl, guy has actually been bedding his male best mate for months, girl finds out and all hell breaks loose. The acting was hilarious. I love over-dramatic soaps, it's like bad fanficiton *sniggers* So Lucy had to leave but Matt turned up and he, me and Ria went to the cinema to see Knocked Up. Absolutely hilarious. Perfect lucnhtime viewing, in my opinion.
I caught the train to Wroxham after the cinema and mum and Adrian picked me up. I basically just got back, packed up my stuff, had a sandwich and stuff, and then at 6pm Adrian and I left for Manchester. We arrived at like 11pm and I'm pretty tired but I wanted to get this entry done otherwise I just wouldn't get it done, what with freshers week and stuff.
So yeah, expect random freshers week type entries this week. Gonna go now and catch up on the comm stuff I missed :)
