Alan thinks Bruce is hilarious and that he can do the impossible--make memes worth reading. He enjoys the irreverence with which Bruce treats Tony Stark, since everyone else seems to work themselves into a tizzy over the guy. He suspects there's more to Bruce than the shallow playboy façade, but doesn't pry because, well, that would turn him into Lorna. (He loves watching Bruce torment Lorna, btw.) Although he's only vaguely aware of Bruce's relationship with Harry, he thinks it's good for both of them.

ETA: He would very much like to meet Alfred.

Hahahahahahaha - I'm trying to think who Bruce WOULD work himself into a tizzy over.

I hope Alan enjoyed being spammed with BWs personal email.

Alan is incredibly proud of Kara. She's come such a long way from the fifteen-year-old who stole Wesley's(?) car and hit the town to drink pink drinks and make out with CUTE BOYS! He's proud of her for earning her GED--not simply for passing the test, but for sticking with it even after her disastrous first attempt. He knows how frustrating (and disheartening) it is to struggle with something that seems to come naturally to almost everyone else (except in his case the something is relationships, not standardized tests) and he admires her willingness to see it through. He can't be sure he'd have done the same. He's proud of the maturity she exhibits in discussing her life--her posts about motherhood and bipolar disorder are honest and thoughtful. She seems to be slowly coming to terms with who she is and what she is and isn't capable of, and she's learning to stand up for herself and call other people on their shit. He's proud of her devotion to her family and her willingness to make sacrifices on their behalf. Sometimes--okay, quite ( ... )
