Let's see how long I'll keep this up.

Dear diary, I'm fat.

As my gym buddies (Andrew and Tim) are working their asses off to gain weight, I'm on the other side, deathly afraid of gaining 2 lbs. and going over that dreaded 181. My lifts are stalling and I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not eating enough. Stronger means bigger and bigger means eating more food but I don't want to go over 181.

The best solution I can think of is to lose some weight first. I'm hoping to lose around 4-5 lbs. of fat without losing strength and muscle mass. That way I'll have that much more weight I can gain back in muscle while staying at the same weight class. Plus then I'll be able to eat whatever I liiiike during winter break.

Starting tomorrow I'll be adding 5 minutes of metabolic conditioning to the end of my workouts. Any more than 5 minutes and I'll probably burn myself out go catabolic. Here's what tomorrow's workout will look like now with the metcon added.

- Back Squat 3x5 @ 275
- Bench Press 3x5 @ 145 (10% reset)
- Deadlift 1x5 @ 280 (probably not happening)
Max rounds in 5 min of:
- Back Squats x10 @ 135
- Pushups x10

By the way you can expect lots of these entries about weight training because I am very bored. There will be updates about Tim and Andrew's progress too (they're getting huge). I don't care if anyone reads this.
