weekend in nyc
I had a pretty fun weekend in the city.
I stayed with my friend Akash, who literally knows everyone. We didnt wait on line for any club and didnt pay any covers. He also introduced me to like every major promoter, club owner, bartender, and door man he knows.
We spent Friday night at The Slide. It's a cozy, but somewhat sleazy, basement gay bar on the Bowery. I got very trashed doin free body shots off the hot bartender and had a conversation in French with him. He gave me his number and email b4 I left.
The real party was Sunday night. We started off at Splash, which is nothing special but the bartenders are hot and took care of us. Then we went to Spirit, which sucked, even in the VIP area. So we went next door to Home which was very sleak, had a hot crowd, and where Akash introduced me to Jonny McGovern aka the Gay Pimp [http://www.gaypimp.com/].
But the majority of the night was spend at APT [http://www.aptwebsite.com/], our last stop.
This place is super exclusive, upscale, and located in an unmarked location in the meat packing district.
Sunday night is their gay party. Most of the people there were very good looking and very stuck up as well. Everyone sits around smoking, drinking champagne, and occasionally snorting lines off the table.
I promised Justin I will take him to these places so he will never have to endure another night at a place like Heaven, which is gag-worthy.
Hiro was another place on our list of stops but we decided to save it for next time.
