End of the Semester...Again!

Another semester is coming to a close. This was the semester I was dreading and it turned out to be much less of a burden than I originally anticipated. Junior field taught me alot about teaching and gave me a hands on look in the classroom. I'm pleasantly surprised at how my confidence has grown with Ms. Zelina's 10th Grade Honors Class in East High School. I'm really going to miss the kids and can't believe I'm only going to be there for 3 more days! That's crazy! I'm enjoying getting to know all the students. They are really good kids. I heard rumors about how awful the students at East were but I have been pleasantly surprised.

A week from today will be the last thing I have to complete for this semester. I will be presenting my portfolio that showcases the many projects I have completed this semester. Thankfully it isn't graded but honestly I'm unsure of how I'm supposed to present everything. Oh well, I will worry about that the day before I have to do it! :) After all, that approach has always worked for me in the past.

Tonight I will be leading my Bible study as a trial run for me taking over it next semester. I just got done compiling scriptures and questions for tonight's discussion. I'm excited about it and I know I have it in me to lead it. Teaching this class has given me extra confidence and assured me that teaching English was the proper occupation choice.

A week from today I'll be back at my Dad's farm which I call home. I am so relieved and need a good 4 month break from the college atmosphere before doing it all over again. I will be living with Marshiqua in an apartment next semster. Life in McGregor 107 should be very interesting and I hope for many more blessings from God. God has truly made a difference in my life. He has made me happy and it has tickled me to hear my friends Erica and Tim continually tell me how I'm always happy. They have said that to me three times in the past three days. Yes, Erica and Tim, I am happy all the time! I have reason to be! I have Christ in my life and I give him credit for EVERYTHING.  I can't wait to see what God has in store for me this summer. Whatever it is, I am prepared for the wonderful ride!
