So, so tired. This working thing is going to kill me. And I didn't even really do anything today.

University doesn't condition you to work full-time. It prepares you to be a lazy procrastinator. Or maybe that part is my fault. Nah, couldn't be my fault. : )

Anyway. I left really early this morning because I thought I'd run into a pile of traffic and get stuck at the road works on the way. Only there wasn't that much traffic and the road workers didn't block one lane off today. So I was 40 minutes early. Hm. Could've slept in a bit more. Tomorrow will be better. I've been told to go to the regional office near my house. It's only 10 minutes away. Yay. And I can take the back roads. Double yay. Real work starts tomorrow though. No yay for that. And I get to go to a council meeting tomorrow night. Double no yay for that. I'm a bit nervous about that actually. I have to pay attention for the whole time so I don't miss something important. But sometimes I find it hard to concentrate and my mind wanders. No wandering tomorrow night, mind. That's an order.

When I got home this afternoon I sat down and then fell asleep on the lounge. Until I was rudely awakened by someone banging on the door. It was someone trying to get me to buy or sell or do something. He talked so fast I couldn't really catch on. I was still half asleep. Meanwhile, the half of me that was awake was trying to think of an excuse to get out of whatever he was trying to buy or sell or get me to do. Then he asked if I was 21. Hah. I said I was close but not quite there yet. Much to his disappointment. As then he told me he was going to get fired tonight if he couldn't find anybody to agree to whatever it was that he wanted them to agree to. I still hadn't worked it out by that time. So he left and I went back to sleeping. When 10 minutes later someone was banging on the door again. It was the same guy. I couldn't believe it. He said that he had called his boss and that it was ok for me to be a part of whatever it was that he wanted me to be a part of. So then I asked him what he actually wanted me to do as he seemed pretty desperate at this point in time. Then he said that he needed me to sign up and donate money to this organisation on a regular basis. Hm. Uh, I don't have a paying job yet, mate. And when I finally do, my wages will disappear quite instantly into the car registration and insurance. I thought he was just going to ask for a one off donation. Then he tried to get me to just sign up for a week and after the first donation I could call some number and quit. That seemed a bit dodgy to me so I said no. And he actually begged. I thought he was joking about getting fired. Guess he wasn't.

I think I'll try to get an early night tonight.

Hah.

Like that'll happen.
