this evening i noticed a girl getting on the bus at magdalen street. she was wearing a peacoat, fringed scarf, knee-length skirt and opaque tights with loafers. her curly, dark brown hair was cut in a chin-length bob, with thick bangs across her forehead and a green barette on one side. she was wearing red horn-rimmed glasses, and her eyebrows were perfectly arched and tastefully shaded in with eyebrow pencil, but she was wearing no other noticeable makeup. and as she walked past me i noticed a large pink badge on her backpack, which said "this is what a feminist looks like."

i was like, "yep. pretty much."
