I think Nixon just gets a bad rap. Most people think he's evil and whatnot, but nay i say, nay. It's not like presidents before and even after Nixon had shady dealings that were strictly under-the-table affairs, he just was caught. What he did didn't even shock me that terribly, seemed like the logical choice for someone who wanted to win at all costs, which is a situation he was kind of forced into considering his numerous attempts to become president. Nixon was an okay guy in my book. Just a crook, but i like my politicians crooked, shows me that theyre human just like the rest of us.
