For a while there, I was beginning to lose all hope that things would ever turn around for me. I was starting to believe that Normality (tm) was not only going to continue to pass me by, but would even initiate UN-approved trade sanctions against the Island Nation of Me. ;)
Fortunately, things have come good. (About smegging time, too!)
I have a permanent job at last, I have human interaction on a daily basis and I have something to try and occupy my demons, so I have a better chance at leaving the past behind me.
Things are stressful, but I try and tell myself that "this is what normal stress feels like." :)
I work with a great team of people, though at the moment I don't interact with them much. (I'm seated apart from the team because of seating issues and I have a lot of documentation to read.) They are an amazingly talented bunch (who don't get told often enough how fantastic they are.) I just hope I can measure up!
