OMG I love Filth and think it may have just become my most favourite club in the whole world. Firstly, I went there on Friday and they have a new DJ and he was ACE - playing awesome R&B tunes (90s and more recent) all night. He also played quite a few mixes which weren't shit but actually quite good, and given how disappointed/disillusioned I was getting with Fridays last term it was all a pleasant surprise. I was like a Duracell bunny I was, boogie-ing non-stop (ask Jen or Sare if you don't believe me). Well, until half 1 when the DJ changed and the music went rubbish. :P
But anyway, earlier this week I then saw this advertised-

-which just looks like it'd be my most perfect night out *ever*.
AND I just went on the website (http://www.filthoxford.com) and everything that's playing on there is amazing!! So I'm just dancing round my room to these top CHOONS:
1. David Guetta vs The Egg - Love Don't Let Me Go
2. Outkast Hey Ya! mixed with Sean Paul
3. George Michael - Fastlove (!)
4. Stevie Wonder vs Destiny's Child - Superstition/Bootylicious (!!)
5. Greenday vs Oasis (heard this before, nice mix!)
6. GHOSTBUSTERS!!!! mixed with MICHEAL JACKSON (Bad) - that's genius
Anyone who knows me can probably guess just how excited this all makes me. And no Chesney Hawkes/Bryan Adams/Guns and Roses and limited indie in sight! I think I'm in love!
However, the downside is that this is just making me want to go out rather than write my essay. Oops.
