(no subject)
I'm skipping Lit class. I know, I know, it's not supposed to work like this... But the teacher we're supposed to have today has been droning on and on about plot and setting and theme for the past few weeks, and I've already studied these things at school, so there's really nothing new in what she's saying (in fact, my fourth and fifth year teacher -who was English- explained it much the better in less words). I don't mean to be insolent but seriously, at times it gets boring.
The problem is that many of the students didn't go to bilingual schools (as was my case and some of my friends') so they never had a literature class in English, and so they are not acquainted with these features. Which means we have to be very patient while the teacher explains this... And patience, I do not have. Not for this, at least. Bring on the analysis!!!!
Anyways. I've been trying to burn a proper DVD with subtitles for the last hour or so, but to no avail. Sad, huh?
Oh and, as much as it pains me to say this -because it also makes me ashamed of my lack of continuity- I probably won't finish my fic. Newsflash there, yeah? Since nobody had thought of that possibility, the story hanging in mid-air since November... O.o
