Sleeping

SLEEPING

Adamantly you refuse
Shaking you from slumber
The tapping of my shoes
Hoped to send you blunder

The freezing air around
In this old and musty place
Must have a silent sound
And your sleep is at solace

Books around you tower
Whisper knowledge to your ear
Yet you are out of power
And my warnings you cannot hear

Your soft snores escape
And shivers wrack your frame
Goosebumps on your nape
Warmth isn't the same

Who is the person to blame
For you to dream in here?
Sorry, you should've gone away
Because this is a library!

poetry, randomness
