Absolutely expedited and utterly job-lotted

So, the much-vaunted "personal ordinariate" is up and running, resplendent in the title of the P.O. of Our Lady of Walsingham. But how to staff such a thing? Anglican ordinations have of course no standing in the RCC, so obviously we'll have to wait a good long while, while recruits are sought, dispatched to seminaries, etc?  Not quite. A batch of well-known Anglo-Catholic Awkwardists (such as John Broadhurst, previously mentioned in these rants^Wpages), have stepped down from their positions as Anglican Bishops, been immediately received into the Catholic faith, and within a fortnight been ordained as deacons, and two days later as priests, with one of them being created the "ordinary" or the new entity. That's to say, a bishop in all but name (and with wife, to boot). Several women seem to have been nunned in the shrapnel. Not bad going for some guys who'd been non-ordained in a non-church, at close of 2010! Not to say, married guys, to boot!

Mind you, they've been making noises about this for quite some time. Perhaps some covert "double-jobbing", taking a pay-cheque from the CoE, while making preparations to snaffle flock and run?
