It's incredible how much chametz can build up over the year; if I find any more half-opened bags of rice or flour, I think I'll scream because I've already got a metric fuckton of stuff to cook/donate/get rid of before Passover.
Usually, I look forwards to Passover, but this year, I haven't, mostly due to the fact that my family's heading out to New York, to visit cousins, and California, to visit the rest of my Dad's family. There have already been several arguments over if it's worth avoiding chametz on the road; my dad says no, I say yes, which means there will be a fun week in the land of oddly expensive produce watching the rest of the family dig into rice, beans, and the like. Fun won't even begin to cover it this year.
